The shooting of RGV’s ‘Dongala Mutaa’ has completed within the announced scheduled time. Yes! The movie was completed in 5 days with just 8 crew members. Everyday the shooting was held as per the regular time schedule like any other film. This is one of its kind in Indian Cinema which RGV thought differently about this kind of film making. Since every shot was taken using 4 Canon cameras at the same time in 4 different angles the unit was able to complete the shooting fast. The entire film was also shot in the natural light.
For the first time in Indian cinema a film was made with a zero budget (without spending a rupee). So far no remuneration was given to actors or technicians. As announced earlier the remuneration will be given to them only from the profits received through the film. Using digital technology, the post production work will progress at a fast pace as the movie is slated to release on March 4th, 2011, i.e., exactly within 23 days of launch of the film.
