Even before the release of his upcoming film ‘Leader’ opportunity knocks the doors of hero Rana. Bollywood Director cum Producer Rohan Sippy offered Rana a second fiddle to Abhishek Bachchan in a movie aimed at exposing the drug mafia prevalent in Goa area. This role which is as important as the lead role being played by Abhishek was lying un-occupied for quite some time and after seeing the Leader’s preview, the producer-director Rohan Sippy got impressed and went ahead signing him. It is not the first time that the family which Rana belongs to participates inBollywood . Earlier it was his grandfather D Ramanaidu who produced films like ‘Prem Nagar’ and ‘Tohfa’ followed by his uncle Venkatesh who did a lead role against Karishma Kapoor in ‘Anari’.
