The big eyed sweet girl Swathi has been known for her sweet smiles and also some exceptional performances in her movies. She has already made her mark in the Kollywood circuit and news has arrived that now she has been roped in for two big ventures.
One of them happens to be with none other than Vikram and other one is with Jai, her co-star in ‘Subramaniapuram’, the hit movie. Vikram’s movie is being directed by the famous Selvaraghavan and Swathi from her end is said to be quite happy over the selection. She said that her preference has been for quality oriented scripts and performance driven roles.
We have so far seen the bubbly girl Swathi in simple girl next door kind of roles. Of course, she has even won prestigious awards like Filmfare and Nandi for her best performance in ‘Ashta Chamma’. These awards also fetched her a big fish this time.
As you all are aware Swathi has been cast opposite Tamil superstar Vikram. This film is being made as a bi-lingual film by Singanamala Ramesh under his banner Kanakaratna Movies. Sri Raghava, who introduced Swathi in AMAV as heroine’s (Trisha) sister, now portraying her as heroine in this film.
The unit has gone to a place called Leh Ladhak in Kashmir to picturise a song on Vikram and Swathi. But unfortunately the shooting has been stopped abruptly due to sudden change in climatic condition with the temperature in minus degrees. So, it is time for Vikram and Swathi to rest and enjoy the chillness.
